Bad parking at the Goodwill

From Car Park Violation

Sorry for the late update, things have been hectic. Thanks for your continued readership!

So this woman in the blue car pulls up and just kinda leaves it wherever. You can tell she is in a hurry, because she is shopping at the local Goodwill thrift store. Nothing says hurried like discount clothing and outdated computer games, let me tell you. Who knows, maybe she will learn how to park someday, but I doubt it.

And as a point of clarification, I classify female drivers as two types: lady drivers and women drivers. Lady drivers are the ones who drive with decency and class. Women drivers are the ones people make fun of for not being able to operate machinery (like cars). Please be a lady driver in all your travels.

3 way idiot

From 2010 august

So here is a guy who parallel parked over 3 perpendicular spots. For working for a motorcycle shop (as the vehicle was emblazoned with 'The Motorcycle Shop' emblems), he isn't very considerate. Well, I doubt he will learn anything. To top it off, this is a natural foods and health store. Maybe he needs to pick up the Ginko to increase his awareness....

Big van, small priorities

From 2010 august

So this is a picture of a guy who doesn't know how to park in a spot. The area he is in is not a parking area, but rather a lined area between two handicapped spots. Some folks just don't know how to drive.

Tow Trucks are not excepted.

So here you have it, a 'professional' tow truck operator parks like a total arseface. The people who pulled in beside him weren't much better, though. And there you have it, another reason I simply hate Wooster. From the teens loitering in the back of the parking lot all times of the day as though it were a hangout spot, to the idiots who simply can't park right, to the arseholes who don't know how to drive, Wooster is a small city with big city idiots.

Another bad parking job

From 2010 July

Well, there you have it. The man she was with went in just to use the restroom, not even to buy anything. I don't want to make a joke about rich, obstinate fools, but these folks make it so easy. Perhaps she thoughts she was so important that she could take up three spots in her sub-compact and no one would notice...

Ahh, the wonderful invention of Youtube. I now have videos I am going to link, which I upload there, for your viewing pleasure here. Haha, internetz!

Enjoy! Hopefully I will be able to update more often in the future.

Woman can't park...

Well, I don't know if all women are bad drivers, but this one is.

From Bad Driving and Parking

I mean, seriously, parking over 4 spots is alright, if you do it in the back of the lot. This was not the back of the lot, however, and was actually the closest spots available at that time. For shame.

Too much turn

And another video, for you patient fans! This time, turning in Millersburg, and how not to do it in a small car:

Viola! Enjoy the failure in turning.

It is time for more....

So, I realize that it has been a while since I last updated. Life has been kinda busy.

Without further ado, I present a video, one that I shot no less:

Hopefully I will be able to add more of these as time goes on. Enjoy! And if you know the kid, yell at him for me.

Where not to park

From Bad Driving and Parking

This offense is so grievous that I felt I must include it yet again. In front of the doors, in a fire lane and a pedestrian crosswalk; obstructing the flow of traffic. There is no excuse for this. If you need help loading something, you get an employee with a flatbed cart. If you need to pick someone up, make certain that you are out of the way. Wal-Mart even provides mobility devices if you are handicapped, and I am sure that an employee would be happy to bring it back from your vehicle. This is not only a terrible inconvenience and blatant disregard for common courtesy, but it is also a violation of several state and local laws, not to mention federal fire and emergency codes pertaining to buildings. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to walk a whole 200 frakkin' feet just to load up your groceries from a mother-loving cart? As Dennis Leary wrote, 'A**HOLE' (this is a family-friendly blog after all, isn't it?)

Epic fail.

So I was at one of my favorite sites today, the failblog, and saw this. I don't quite know how to react to this one. Apparently they can get out of their truck with no assistance, but are somehow handicapped? Wonderful world we live in.

From Bad Driving and Parking

It has been a while since my last post, so let's get right down to it!

This lady has decided to park in a no-parking 'Fire Zone' outside of a popular retailer. I suppose it doesn't make it any better that she was on her cell phone. Maybe she simply forgot how to park in the spots, and forgot how to read, and thought the world should just stop for her while she obstructed traffic. What's even worse is how many other people will stop here and just wait for more than a few seconds. However, this lady was still there after I came back out 10 minutes later, which means she left her car running that long too!

I apologize that the photo is a bit blurry, but night photos are so hard to get well.

Another offense.

From Bad Driving and Parking

Perhaps many of you don't even think about it, but this is another offense many people are guilty of. The lines are there for a reason, and that is to allow you to show off your parking skills (or lack thereof, in this case). Parking over the line to the front, especially this close to a building, is unacceptable. This goes for big trucks too, who decide to park close and stick out too far. Seriously, is it so hard to check and rectify the parking situation?

Amazing or...

From Bad Driving and Parking

I bet a lot of people do this, but it never ceases to amaze me just how inconsiderate people can be. This is a Handicapped spot, but the person has no handicapped tags. It is disgraceful. Then again, I think handicapped spots have to be blue on all lines bordering the spot, so the wal-mart spots may not be legal. Either way, this is a pitiful example of human behavior. And the date and time on that photo are accurate, in case anyone needs that information.

Updates, updates, updates.

From Bad Driving and Parking

Tonight, I have, for your viewing pleasure, 3 updates! This is the first one.

As you can see, this person simply does not understand the finer points of pulling in between lines. Maybe the rain made them unable to see that white line on the darker pavement, who knows. All I can say is, I hope they drive better than they park.

How to do things right.

From Bad Driving and Parking

This is not a normal post, but rather, an example of how to properly park if you must take up more than one space. As you can see, this is in the back of the parking lot, and is using a four space configuration, such that the vehicle is in the center of it. This minimizes the chance for someone to hit it, and it is out of the way of anyone who may need a closer spot. Most cars that are for sale are positioned this way. Semi Trucks tend to park at the back too, which is also good.

Congrats on making the one and only positive post that will most likely ever be on this blog!

It's that time again!

From Bad Driving and Parking

I might have let this offense go, if it had been somewhere further from the door. It must not be normal to park between the lines in Montana. Then again, since there are only like 10 people in Montana anyway, maybe parking spaces are larger or something. Still, it was very uncool of this person to box in the reddish van, as the van was there before I went in, but the truck was not. I can provide the original photo if that red van needs it for insurance reason (scratches can be costly to fix, I know!).

And now for something else.

From Bad Driving and Parking

Here we have an amazing example of parking. This person was in such a hurry to get into Big Lots in that town full of amazing parking jobs, that they parked not only outside of a spot, but in the driving lane, facing the wrong direction. As you can see on the bumper (you may need to enlarge the photo), this has not been their first run-in with a bad parking job. My guess is that the scratches are from one of those nifty parking barriers, designed to prevent just this type of driver from pulling in too far...

Wooster Winrar

From Bad Driving and Parking

So, I was up at a fine retailer in Wooster, just doing my thing, and noticed this fine parking specimen. What makes it better is how it is not just the red truck over the line, but the white vehicle is also into the space. This is what we call a cluster. If it had been in the back of the parking lot, I could have completely overlooked such an offense. Way to go.

Another amazing parking job.

From Bad Driving and Parking

Okay, so this one is a bit old, but still worth throwing up here (since I haven't put one up in a little while, anyway).

I do find it ironic that this vehicle, parked illegally over a driving area and a no-parking area next to a handicapped spot (for which they don't even have a handicapped permit), is called a 'Navigator.' Appears the only thing this person could ever hope to navigate is failure...
